Deborah Rine lives in Freeport, Florida with her husband Larry and two labrador retrievers. She grew up in Evanston, Illinois, Bronxville NY and Bethesda-Chevy Chase MD. At age 14 she spent a year in France living in a French family. After high school she lived with a family in Sweden. Upon graduation from Northwestern University with a BA and MA in French Literature, she taught in Winnetka, IL. After marrying, she moved to Milan and then Verona Italy. Subsequently, her family moved to Brussels, Belgium and then to a Parisian suburb.Upon returning to the US, she taught high school French. She has three wonderful children and 14 beautiful, gifted grandchildren. She has written 6 mystery novels, a women's contemporary novel an Italian romance. Most recently, she published MISSING ON 30A. She has been published in The Chicago Tribune several times and in The Gazebo News. Today, she devotes her life to writing, cooking and dog walking.
